Kaikoura Earthquake
November 2016, New Zealand was struck by a 7.8 magnitude earthquake centered near Kaikoura. Lasting 2 minutes the earthquake caused large rupture to the landscape and damage to buildings and infrastructure from South of Christchurch to Auckland.
Cyclone Debbie
Large scale flash flooding to the Edgecumbe area with over 500 houses in the region being seriously affected. MPS worked with Vero and AAI (Suncorp) in the complete claim management of 120 affected homes.
Christchurch Earthquake
September 2010, Canterbury was struck by a 7.1 magnitude earthquake centered near Darfield. This earthquake was followed by two significant aftershocks with the most notable was a 6.3 magnitude on the 22 February 2011. Total estimated damage across these earthquakes is estimated at 40 billion dollars.
Melbourne and Perth Hailstorms
The 2010 Australian storms were a series of storms that travelled over Western Australia during March 2010.
Brisbane Flooding
In 2009, a number of the personnel currently engaged by MPS project managed 109 Brisbane homes that had been inundated with storm water run-off and flood water.
Mackay Floods
In 2008, Mackay was devastated by severe flooding, with over 600 mm of rain in 6 hours. Causing damage to around 2000 properties.
Cyclone Yasi
Category 5 Tropical Cyclone that struck Queensland, Australia early February 2011. Personnel now employed by MPS assisted with the appointment of structural engineers, specialist contractors and building contractors, for reconstruction works.
Victoria Bush Fires
Known as the Black Saturday Bushfires, early 2009, caused devastation across the state, and is considered the worst bushfires Australia has endured.
